Strange behavior of the webapp keypad

Postby ando1 » Mon Sep 08, 2014 7:45 am

I am running the latest BETA image for the Raspberry Pi and noticed a difference in the arming states of the webapp keypad vs a physical one. For instance when I arm my Vista 20P in away mode <user code> + 2 on the physical keypad it arms in AWAY mode. The webapp correctly displays “ARMED ***AWAY*** ALL SECURE”.

Now if I arm the system using the webapp, it arms in STAY mode and displays
“ARMED STAY”

Any explanation of this behavior or is it a bug?

That's a strange one, Andy. Can't say I've had that issue here.

Could you try telneting to port 10000 on your Raspberry Pi and doing it that way? That will eliminate the webapp from the equation.

Scott,

I tried it using telnet and got the same results. (ARMED STAY)

Take a look at field #84 in programming mode. It is possible that from a real keypad you are triping a motion sensor that is configured for an exit incorrectly and that's why it works.to arm away and not open a door requires this field to be adjusted.

Sean,

That was it! The Auto Away Feature was enabled in *84. After disabling this the alarm arms properly.

Thanks again!
