Hi,

I was wondering when the new version of the keypad app for raspberry pi will be released as I am eager to get the new custom keys feature.Any info on a time line?

Whenever Scott gets around to finishing the last pieces with regards to the updater a new version will be released. Sorry for the delay, but some things tend to get complex when you run down rabbit holes.

Hey Andy,

Still working on it!

There were some issues with the update system in the last couple beta releases that I'm trying to iron out so that it works smoothly in the future. I think it's mostly working as intended, but I'm still trying to make it so the current beta users can update their broken installs without having to reimage. Fingers crossed.

Thanks!

Thanks for the good feedback and sorry things are taking so long for a software update - but we would prefer the user experience to remain a positive one!

Hey Andy,

I've pushed a new version up to our dev branch on github. You can switch to that branch if you want to take an early stab at it or it'll be moved into master in the next couple of days when I get the new Pi image built.

Thanks,
Scott
