UPNP notification fails for Smartthings

Hi,

I have alarmdecoder up and running fine and I also installed the device handlers and smartapp in my Smartthings app, but I can't get the UPNP notification to work in the webapp.

I get this message when I try to test the notification:

Error sending test notification: UPNPPushNotification Failed: None

I noticed that the webapp diagnostic showed module miniupnpc was missing, so I installed it using "sudo pip install miniupnpc" but even though it installed fine, the notification still won't work after rebooting.

My router is google wifi and upnp is enabled.

Any idea what might be wrong?

i too am experiencing similar issues. My issue is as follows:

Hi there,

I have followed the install to a tee. the zone states are not updating (both hardwired and wireless) in the smart things app. I have uninstalled rebooted (both hub and pi) and re-installed with no luck. Webapp does update and is reflective of zone faulting.

Just uninstalled a former version from smart things and did not encounter any issues with the former version previously loaded.

any thoughts on why the communication is not occurring between the web app and smart things?

a ticket has also been opened on GitHub with no response for 17 days.

This error usually indicates the ST Hub and the AD2* are not communicating.

Be sure the UPNP plugin is enabled.
You can remove or disable the "smartthings" notification.
The "Test" button does not work and will error.
Be sure to use the "Classic" SmartThings APP at this time the "new" app is broken for many.
Be sure you are using our latest Raspbian 9 stretch image.

If this all checks out I am not sure what to test next and it may just need some remote support.
I am available for help over a remote desktop session most days. Just open a ticket and schedule a time.
