Webapp log timestamp

I am in the EST timezone and noticed when looking at the events tab in webapp log they are displayed in UTC time (+4 hrs). The live tab however shows EDT time. Is there a way to have the events tab display EST time?

I have added this to our list to investigate and implement into the beta image if needed. At this time I don't have an answer but it will be looked into.

Silly question, but you did check the date and timezone on the pi itself and made sure it was correct?

Just an update - this requires a code update to convert utc time to localtime and is in progress for the next dev release

I have this working properly now on my local workstation and have pushed a change to our git server so the next time that we release into dev on github this should be included.

Thanks for the update Kevin. I was wondering how do I go about updating from the Git repo?

When it's pushed to the master branch the webapp will tell you there is an update available and update your software automatically, however from the command line you can go to the webapp directory:

/opt/alarmdecoder-webapp

and do a 'git pull origin master'
