Ad2pi missing events on a Vista-20P

I am trying to integrate my AD2PI running the PiBakery load into a home automation system and I'm having trouble with lost events.
I have been seeing this issue for several updates but now that I have ruled out the home automation system, I'm posting against the following release:

Code: Select all
AlarmDecoder library commit: 514fe67
AlarmDecoder webapp commit:  b0045d8

Address   18
Configbits   0XFF05
Address Mask   0XFFFFFFFFL
Zone Exander Emulation   False False False False False
Relay Emulation   True True True True
LRR Emulation   False
Deduplicate   False
Panel Type   ADEMCO
Firmware version   V2.2a.8.8
Serial Number   FFFFFFFF
Device Flags   TX;RX;SM;VZ;RF;ZX;RE;AU;3X;CG;DD;MF;L2;KE;M2;CB;DS;ER;CR

I cut out the event log from the AD2PI WebApp to show the problems that I have detected. This one shows a wireless door sensor faulting but not clearing but the keypad text clearly shows that the sensor cleared. My Vista 20P has a dedicated RF transceiver module on the bus along with the AD2PI and (2) 6160 keypads (no RF on them). Here is the log from today:

2019-7-25 7:29:48 PM   ZONE RESTORE   Zone KITCHEN MOTION (20) has been restored.

ZN17 Laundry Entry Door (RFX:0957061) faulted but did not restore. On the WebApp, everything looks OK because you get this:
Code: Select all
2019-7-25 7:29:05 PM   READY   Ready status has changed to True
2019-7-25 7:29:06 PM   ZONE RESTORE   Zone LAUNDRY ENTRY DOOR (17) has been restored.

On the home automation system, it is easy to spot the missing restore events, but now I suspect that I may be missing fault events without having an indication.

Please let me know if I can debug this further. I have the ability to test down to the hardware level if it comes to that.

I would put my $ on you having 2.2a.8.8 firmware. If so please update to the latest beta 8.9 and see if you still see the issue. I expect not since that was the latest bug/fix. I never did trace down the original source of the bug or I have by now forgotten it but as I recall it was a timing issue causing lost RFX messages and hmm.. maybe others? Not so sure on that.

Let me know

From what I can tell, things have greatly improved with the beta firmware. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback! For my own setup RFX message support is critical.
