I purchased an ESP32-POE-ISO so I could try out the new AD2IoT code and integrations. Right now I have it connecting to my existing Raspberry Pi 3 board with an AD2Pi v1.1 board through a ser2sock connection. What I'd really like to do is to connect the AD2Pi board directly to the ESP32 device and use local serial connection so I can repurpose the Pi (right now the only thing it is really doing is hosting the AD2Pi board and connection). Is this as simple as connecting pins 8 and 10 on the AD2Pi board to pins 4 and 36 on the ESP32-POE-ISO? Do I also need to power the AD2Pi board from the ESP32 device or does it get its power from the Ademco Vista-40 control panel it is hooked up to?
