I am trying add these keys <> to custom buttons as shown in picture.

The installer manual has ascII code 060 for < symbol, and 062 for >
Those don't seem to be right when configured.

The left and right arrow buttons are already on the DSC keypad, but disabled for the time being.

Yes, they will be there at some point, no need to request them

The reason you can't get it to work as you want is because the AlarmDecoder device's firmware expects a special key sent to it to emulate the arrow keypress, it wouldn't understand whatever values you're trying to enter for it.

Don't worry, we'll enable them soon.
