Can AD2Pi see and interact with 2 partitions?

I have 2 partitions on my system:

1: main - has all alarmed sensors
2: secondary: has a handful of sensors not monitored by partition 1

I have this setup like this so as to have a bunch of motion sensors, garage door sensors, and outdoor side gate sensors active, and down the road, hopefully monitored by the AD2Pi rather than simply not using these sensors.

I have multiple keypads, but one location has 2 keypads to interact with both partitions. So I do see and can use it if I really want. But that's mostly irrelevant.

What I want to know:
A) can the AD2Pi watch 2 partitions simultaneously?
B) in order to monitor both partitions, do I need 2 separate AD2 units, one for each partition?

By default the alarmdecoder sees all messages on all partitions, and can control all partitions via the K command. You don't need 2 alarmdecoder devices.
