Okay. I'm back with an issue and need your excellent assistance. When I first plugged the ad2pi in, I had comm issues with truncated messages, nonsense data, and COMM FAILURE messages. A power cycle of the Vista 10 system set everything straight and messages made sense and everything worked great. I thought, awesome, problem solved. And it was... for a while...
Something happened (not sure what) last night where I'm getting gibberish data and COMM FAILURE messages again. The deal is, I cannot rely on power cycling the alarm system to solve this (like, I'm not physically there so... ya know). Thus, how can I get the AD2Pi to... "sync" (for lack of a better word) with the Vista 10 such that I'll get proper messages again??
Much appreciated!
