AlarmDecoder WebInterface create a panic button ?

How do you create a button that would function like the keypad panic (i.e. bind a function key to zone 99) which triggers after pressing it for 2 seconds ?

You can go into the settings->keypad section and define a custom button - here, just send your panic code. Then on the keypad interface you have access to the custom button.

You should really have a duress code assigned to a user slot for this.

Is there a way to make the duress code audible alarm instead of silent ? I was thinking of using this in conjunction with cameras so that I can trigger the alarm remotely after I verify suspicious behavior around the perimeter using the camera.

Unfortunately, that is the nature of how PANIC works - imagine a robber got you at gunpoint and tells you to disarm the alarm - you put in panic code, it acts as it disarms, but really signals the police.

Now, the police button, if programming correctly, should siren as well as call the police and I think that might be your best bet.

I believe changing the zone type for zone 99 you can make a panic siren - but it's all or nothing, no selective sirens. All the duress does is fault zone 99 really.

So just to confirm the default Police button on the alarmdecoder web interface does both the audible alarm and calls the police ?

Is there a way to test just the audible alarm portion with out triggering the call the police ?

The police button sends f2 (by default police). By default, this would be the action it takes when pressed.

No, it's all or nothing unfortunately.
