AlarmDecoder Keypad - Panel Program Helper

Stupid question. I just purchased the Panel Program Helper for the AlarmDecoder Keypad. When I click on the Panel Program Helper tab, there are two buttons - Start and Save.

Which one will pull the existing settings from my Vista 20P and save them to a file?

I'm assuming it is the Save button, but it isn't obvious. I'm afraid to try clicking it because I do not want to overwrite my existing 20P configuration.

This module does not program your panel, it just downloads the programming from your panel.

If you want to program your panel, please email ad2usb@support.nutech.com and ask about using Compass - there is currently a beta program going on for the modem driver.

Start to start the download, Save to save it to file.

Thanks. The ability to backup the Vista 20P settings and then restore them would be a very nice feature to have.

Hi! I purchased the Pannel Helper and tried to download my new Vista20P settings. I start the helper and it begins to get fields from the panel up to Field 28 (access code for phone module). At that point it stops with a "Not Used" "EE" on field 29. After a long pause it continues. Any way to get around that pause or fix that error?
