AD2USB, openHAB and Nest

Postby w2vy » Sun Jan 31, 2016 5:45 am

Well I gave up attempting to gain control of my ADT touched panel, new one arrives next week...

I have the AlarmDecoder Keypad installed on my Debian box to test with once I get everything set up.

I also installed ser2sock so I can connect to the panel from my laptop locally.

My next step will be to get the panel configured and then interfacing it with openHAB, anyone here done this already?
Finally I will want to get OH working with Nest, but that may be well beyond the scope of this forum :)

It is recommended to use the official binding anyway :)
