Can you do me a favor and try bypassing nginx by going to port 5000 - http://alarmdecoder.local:5000 and see if the problem persists? There was a new nginx config in the contrib directory and wondering if that is the issue.

Done. I get the following:

Code: Select all
Forbidden Page
It looks like this was the result of:

*no permission

Ok, try replacing the nginx config from /opt/alarmdecoder-webapp/contrib/nginx/alarmdecoder and replace the /etc/nginx/sites-available/alarmdecoder with that (sudo cp /opt/alarmdecoder-webapp/contrib/nginx/alarmdecoder /etc/nginx/sites-available/alarmdecoder && sudo /etc/init.d/nginx restart)

If you clicked on setup and it didn't register as going through the process fully, then this is common.

Ran:

sudo cp /opt/alarmdecoder-webapp/contrib/nginx/alarmdecoder /etc/nginx/sites-available/alarmdecoder && sudo /etc/init.d/nginx restart

Tried website - no change still stuck at loading.

Tried rebooting just to be sure - still stuck at loading.

Well, give us some time to reproduce this and see if we can get a fix out - until then you can bypass nginx by going to port 5000 to use the keypad on non-working devices

Can you guys provide your nginx error logs from /var/log/nginx/error.log as well as the gunicorn logs in /var/log/gunicorn/alarmdecoder.log and the logs in /opt/alarmdecoder-webapp/instance/logs/info.log - let's see if we got any good information in there. Also, you guys did clear your sessions and cache etc after the upgrade?
