Cool thread man, thanks. Just so you know, outside of the basic usage you've lined up - you can do cool things with the zone expander/LRR/relay emulation as well. Basically anything in your house can become a zone. Want an alert if a medicine cabinet opened? Sure no problem, hook up an interface that you can read from a computer (or whatever) and program in a zone in the expander. Then you can fault and unfault that zone programmatically with the "L" command.

Just one example of advanced usage.
