[Solved] Vista-20P - ECP Error / Open ckt

Hello all.

I'm having issues connecting my ad2usb ver 2 to my panel. The system without the ad2usb is functioning just fine but when I plug this in, I get an ECP ERROR on my 6280 and open ckt on my 6160rf.

The 6160rf is using address 16.
The 6280 is using address 1.
I also have two expanders.
The decoder is connected to a Mac running 10.8.5

i've tried address 17, 18, 19, and 20 (all open with 1 1 in the panel).

The below is a dump from the keypad app log (disconnected the green and yellow wires):

The configuration looks good and with an ECP error I want to say its a wiring issue or the AD2* is faulty. Is this a new unit or was it working and then this happened?

i bought it a month or so ago and tried to use it along with your panel downloader (the panel and decoder was all bought at the same time) but i decided to just use the keypad to do it (similar issues)
i traced the wires back and the green wire is tied into the same bundle as my other keypads and ditto on the yellow. Green is routed to the DI and the yellow is on the DO.
voltage check: 13volts green to red / 13 volts yellow to white
speaking of power… I'm using an aux power supply on one of my keypads so i shouldn't be overloading my panel.
The wife and kids are sleeping so I'm limited now but will gladly check anything you can recommend tomorrow afternoon.

Ok I would like to run some tests over the phone but I am not sure on my schedule. Send me your contact data to general@support.nutech.com and lets find a time to do some testing. If it is a blown AD2* it wont be hard to figure out. If its that AUX power also not hard to figure out.

Turned out to be a short that was easily fixed. Everything is now working how it should.
