No, the plugin does not upload to the panel - it just downloads and formats your programming for easy reference.

If you want full programming, obtain Compass and get the Compass Modem Driver addon from the store, if your panel firmware is supported you can use the compass software without needing a bulky and hard to find/expensive modem.

I hear it does work, but I have not tried myself. I do have that panel and I think that revision of firmware. It is on my list to test but I have SOOOOO many projects.

You should test for me and contribute back feedback and debug data from your panel during the communication. If it does not work and you can configure an existing communicator on the panel that does work then I can figure out with some remote diagnostics what is going on and improve the firmware. Usually with edge cases like this I am also willing to contribute sample devices for evaluation and feedback if it is a budgetary issue to do these tests.

I've used the modem driver with Compass 2 on a Vista 20p. If it works there, it would probably work with the 128 provided that Compass supports the model and firmware revision you cite.
