WebApp Error on Log -> Events Tab

I have a Raspberry Pi 3 running the Alarm Decoder WebApp. When I click on the Log link, I get the following "Warning" message box (after about 30 seconds):

DataTables warning: table id=events-table - Ajax error. For more information about this error, please see http://datatables.net/tn/7

The Events never display, the progress spinner just keeps spinning and you can't navigate to any other link. After you receive the error, it seems to restart the webapp because when I close the browser window and reopen it, I get the "Services might still be starting" 502 error.

I have tried clearing the events, but that doesn't help.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Perhaps deleting the log database manually might help. Is there a way to delete it manually through an SSH session and allow it to recreate itself?
