AD2PI reset?

Postby jon.thomp » Sun Mar 15, 2020 5:53 pm

So I bought one of the network appliances with the intent of putting homebridge on it and controlling my Ademco 10SE with my phone. Before I started installing homebridge, I followed the directions and struggled. And struggled. I could not get communication with the board. I manually reinstalled alarmdecoder web. I then managed to somehow screen into /dev/serial0 and get a response. I then closed out of that and put and then it worked. I got it configured for the most part with homebridge, then rebooted to make sure things would spin itself back up. And this is where I'm stuck. I can screen into the serial ports (/dev/serial1 as serial0 disappeared, or /dev/ttyADA0) but get no response for the board. I've pulled power for minutes at a time. I've tried everything I can think of to solve this issue but it feels like the board needs some sort of reset to make it work and I just don't know how to do that.

I needed to re-enable the serial port in /etc/config to get it to work again.
