Managing partitions with the webapp

Postby lucavista » Thu May 21, 2015 7:30 am

Hello,
I've a system with multiple partitions. The desktop app handles them flawlessly. The webbapp display loops on all the different partitions breaking the usage. Ideas?
I just saw there is an update that I'm going to try now (an updated raspberry image would be nice!).

You can manage what you see by adjusting your address mask in your settings to ignore messages from keypads you don't want to see

New raspbian image coming soon, almost done - pi2 support etc!

I tried that without success. I managed to set the mask for filtering panels addresses (with the help of the desktop app) but I don't undestand how to filter partitions.
I was hoping for pi2 support, thanks!

You want to set the mask to enable only keypads on the partition you want to listen to

You can figure out the address mask you need from the AlarmDecoder Keypad - just make sure the keypads you want to listen to are the only ones enabled. Once you have the mask, go through setup in your webapp and for the address mask put in this value to listen to only keypads on the partition you want to listen to.

In my configuration every keypad can manage every partition. Keypads have a default partition associated but they can switch on others.
I have the same setting in both desktop and web app but different behaviors.

Ok good, I though i was missing something since I'm not an expert of these alarm systems.
Thanks again, I'll check the commits. If you need some message dumps let me know!
